Kitchen Curtains
I looked everywhere for curtains that would match my kitchen. I finally decided to just make some. What was supposed to be a simple valance soon turned into ruffles and beads. I have to thank my friend Jann for helping me figure out the proper measurements for my little sewing adventure. They weren't too hard to make (and I'm a pretty novice seamstress) so I think anyone could do it! They are so worth the effort :)

Jackie--your house is so lovely! And I'm super impressed with those curtains--wow. Thanks for putting up some pictures...I've been dying to see it!
Jackie, those curtains are to die for!!! Your house looks amazing!!
cute curtains!! i love the print-- where did you get the fabric?
As I told you when we visited you have such good sense of design. It completely frightens me. We have exactly 6 items hanging on the wall in our entire apartment! And if not for Chris there would be ZERO. I'm so scared of messing up and what to do I just do nothing. It looks great. If I ever own a house I'll have to call you for some help.
So cute! Good job, I have to be highly supervised whenever I use a sewing machine, mine would not have turned out as pretty! :o)
Good Job. I'm impressed, and I've been making curtains for thirty-three years. Really!
Well Done Jackie! How nice to be in a new, beautiful home. Good luck defending this week! Alyssa and I are coming to Utah to help my brother by babysitting his kids for a week. We would love it if you would swing by Provo and say hello! I'll call you when I am in town (headed there on the 18th of March through the 29th)
