Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! For Pioneer Day, we decided to brave the crowds and go to the zoo. We went right when it opened so it wasn't too crowded. Our favorite things to see were the tigers playing in the water. We were in awe of their power and speed. They were pouncing and batting around a ball. Wow. I have never seen anything like it and was very thankful we were separated by a thick sheet of glass. All the animals were active and so much fun to watch. We left right as it started pouring. We couldn't have planned that any better :)
