Jane's Blessing

Jane 's blessing was Monday night, December 27th. We decided to bless her at home to simplify things a little bit. It was a wonderful occasion surrounded by friends and family. Jane was blessed to make good decisions and be a role model for all those around her. Jefferson was running around and Jane was crying, but there was definitely a sweet spirit in the room. Jane soon became quite fussy, but we changed her out of her dress and she settled down. The rough edges of the seams were irritating her sensitive baby skin. Next time I'll know those fancy, lacy dresses need little slips under them. Having a baby girl is definitely a new experience! Thanks to all those who came and helped celebrate our little Jane Madelyn. We are lucky to have her and I know she will add so much joy to our family. We love you so much Jane!
