I just thought I would let all those people who don't get to see me very often know that we are expecting a second little addition to our family. The baby is due November 27th, so we are gearing up for a little turkey baby. Right now, I am a little over 16 weeks (about 3.5 months if you go by the 9 month system) pregnant so we will be able to find out the gender in just a few weeks! I really don't have a feeling either way as to what we are having, so I am super curious to find out. I do have to admit I have bought a few girly "gifts for other people" just in case. We really can't lose either way though--we just want a healthy little one!
If you would like to guess what the baby is, here is some info about the pregnancy so far:
I have not been as sick as I was with Jefferson, but it seems to be mildly hanging around even now. Then again, I am taking medicine for it and not working and going to school full time, so that might help too.
The baby's heart rate has been around 155 each visit.
I am still able to wear my normal pants comfortably (unlike with baby #1) so maybe the baby is positioned higher? Maybe it is too early to talk about being high or low until the baby gets bigger?
I have terrible acne this time that just won't go away. Last time it went away after about 10 weeks.
I had a major aversion to chocolate until just recently (in retrospect maybe it was actually a good thing). Salty things, grilled cheese sandwiches, and strawberry ice cream have always sounded good from the beginning.
According to most of the online Chinese calendars, I am having a boy. Pretty good odds, those things are at least 50% correct :) Ha ha.
If you want to guess, just leave a comment! I'll be finding out sometime during the second week of July.

YAY! What GREAT news! I'm putting down it's a little girl. Tell Jason he needs to start investing in a little pink bike :)
Congratulations!
Congratulations! What I want to know: Have you been wanting bananas or oranges? Apparently (if I am thinking right) that is a sign of a girl. Certainly with Jane, I was eating them hand over fist.
Congratulations! That was the exact due date for my little boy! But he ended up being a couple days early. :) Thanksgiving birthdays are fun, because you usually have a lot of family around to help celebrate them!
So exciting! I'm pulling for a little girl that looks just like you. (no offense, Jason :)
congrats jackie! (and jason.) can't wait to see how jefferson handles this new thing!
