The first time Jefferson saw his batman costume, he was in love. He went to bed with it still in the packaging. The next morning, we discovered that it was way too small. He still wanted to wear the cape, so we put that on him. He immediately put up his arm and jumped with all his might. Then he pouted, "I still can't fly." He was devastated. Poor kid. After that he had no interest in wearing a costume.
He wouldn't wear the costume to his preschool party, or to Nana's house. Finally, I told him he couldn't go trick or treating if he didn't wear it. He wasn't too concerned. Then he found out what happens when you go trick or treating. I've never seen a kid more excited to wear a costume. Oh, the power of CANDY.

Cute! Cute! Did Jason take him out trick or treating? Jefferson will remember next year what that phrase means... No more trouble wearing costumes. . .

Yes, Jason took both kids out around the block. Jane just showed off her costume to everyone, but they'll both be into it next year. Kids sure make things fun!
I looove these costumes. Jane's is my favorite. :)
