MaRcH mAdnEss!

I know it's the middle of April, but I am just finally getting caught up blogging about March. Maybe I can double time and get April in before it is over. Wheww! I am glad March is over. Don't get me wrong, it was a great month, but it sure was busy. Here is a quick recap:

March 5th-defended thesis
March 6th-ran lake to lake realy race with some awesome women in St. George
March 10th-Jefferson's Birthday
March 12th-Deadline to turn in finished paper to College dean for signiture
March 13th-Jefferson's Party
March 17th-Had to have everything completely done on thesis by noon (signitures, final edits, college formatting, electronic form submitted and approved by everyone and the kitchen sink, copies turned into library for binding, etc.)
March 17th-Picked my mom up from the airport to watch Jefferson while we went to the Bahamas :)
March 18th-flew to Florida with Jason's family and finally got to relax and get a tan (slight burn too)!
March 24th-Dropped my mom off at the airport :(

So in a nutshell, I was pretty exhausted! But I am completely done with grad school and I have some color in my cheeks. April, even with its birthdays, Easter, and bridal and baby showers, is pretty mild in comparision. With all my spare time, I've sewn some crayon rolls and am refinishing an old bench! I guess I need to start helping Jason rake rocks out of the yard now too :)

ETA: I asked Jason if he had anything to add, and he said he wanted everyone to know that his leg is messed up and is prohibiting him from riding his beloved bike in this lovely weather. I don't know if he wants pity or prayers. He actually did mention to put his name on the prayer roll, but we won't go there. Yes, biking is that important.

Congrats on your thesis! That is SO exciting! Isn't it a GREAT feeling to finally be done!? Sounds like life is going well for you, I miss the walk/runs you, Crystelle and I would go on...Let's see some pics of your trip too!!

Tell Jason I'm sorry for his leg, it stinks being lame. :)

I am glad to see you guys are updating your blog again. I am not looking forward to the whole thesis thing coming up in a year, but congrats on finally being done. Also the weather is getting great for biking here in Indiana. Tell Jason we hope his leg gets better soon so he can get back to biking.

Jackie,
I've been sort of lagged in reading the blogs. I read your March blog just now. How did you ever get through March? You must keep a things to do list. . .
That must have been a great treat to look forward to when the thesis was all over. Bahamas!!
